Sally Doherty, my youngest daughter, is a singer/composer. She has recorded and released ten albums, the latest of which is a latin jazz album called Silent Spaces. Previous albums have ranged from latin jazz to acoustic folk. She has also enjoyed working in many collaborative projects including working with Italian dance outfit Planet Funk and electronic artist Scanner, as well as recording with Richard Hawley and folk fiddle player Donald Grant amongst others.
Her live work has taken her all around the world and her compositions have led her to write for BBC TV documentary and Radio 4 drama.
She lives in Sheffield with her husband Nick Dutch and their children Leo and Tess.
